About Us
The Spinney Holiday and Leisure Park, (run by eldest daughter of proprietor Gordon Hadfield, Kelly Hadfield, and Jeff Higgins), is a caravan park having a total of 90 static caravans ranging from 28 x 12' to 38 x 12' in size, located in the quiet hamlet of Swanbridge, Sully, South Wales. All caravans are privately owned and not rented. Each caravan is self contained including 2 double bedrooms and a make-up bed in the lounge specially designed to sleep all the family in comfort. The park is non-residential and operates on an 11 month basis catering for families with children and pets. A notable feature of Spinney are the Scandinavian log cabins that provide an attractive alternative for potential buyers, which are enclosed within a walled garden and within a private wooded area. These much sought after cabins are low maintenance buildings, built to last a lifetime, 36' x 20' with balcony.
The seafront setting allows all caravan owners the pleasure of splendid sea views overlooking Sully Island and the Bristol Channel. This small yet intimate holiday park is uniquely laid out with beautiful gardens that are kept in prime condition by the caravan owners and the park's maintenance staff. The park is constantly improving its surroundings and is currently in the process of attaining a Green Dragon Level 1 standard, which recognises the park's efforts to become environmentally more aware by implementing an environmental policy. The Spinney has also been awarded with a David Bellamy Silver Award in 2003 for its continuing commitment to conservation and the environment.
