History
In 2002 Gordon Hadfield recognised the need for a Bar and Restaurant in Swanbridge that would provide an alternative to the long established Captains Wife for caravan owners of the Spinney complex and people of the area. The planning design of the building was an attempt to convey a Mediterranean atmosphere overlooking the Bristol Channel. A glimpse of the building now would confirm that the desired impression was achieved.
The nature of the construction of the building in 2003 was recognised by the Vale of Glamorgan Council Building Control Group who awarded the building with the Category Award Winner for Small Commercial/Industrial Businesses.
