History

Island View CaravanIsland View Caravan Park was bought by Gordon Hadfield in November 1999, who is still the proprietor, and has since been transformed into its present high standards. The site has however been a caravan park since the 1950s when the leisure industry started to become apparent in South Wales. During this time the caravans where mostly touring and not static. Previously to the site being a caravan park it was an RAF camp and accommodation.

The coastal location of the Spinney complex (that includes Island View Caravan Park) allows a wide variety of activities. A nearby public slipway allows access for sea-going crafts such as jet skis and small boats. If you prefer a more relaxing time at the coast, a stroll during low-tide or a spot of fishing may take your fancy. Whatever your preference the Spinney can suit the needs of all.
